⊹ Phiên bản đồng hồ này tạo nên sự khác biệt, với việc sử dụng nguyên liệu có màu đen nhất được sử dụng từ trước tới nay: Vantablack. Chất liệu Vantablack được tạo từ những sợ Carbon siêu nhỏ có kích thước một phần triệu mm, chúng có khả năng hấp thụ 99.965% ánh sáng được chiếu tới.

⊹ Chất liệu này đã thu hút sự chú ý của nghệ sĩ Anish Kapoor – người đã hợp tác với MCT để có thể ứng dụng vào một số sản phẩm ấn tượng. Ông cho biết: “Đây có lẽ là chất liệu đen nhất từ trước đến nay, chỉ sau hố đen mà thôi, đây là một vật thể không thể nào được nhìn thấy được”.
